Objective-12 Answers to some Perplexing Questions.
Facing a growing following that seem to be in awe of how we've managed to cram so much kit into such a small space, we thought we'd give out a few sneak peeks or perhaps better described as snap shots in time, to explain to our followers solutions we've developed to overcome what might seem to some as impossible and unachievable goals.

We've had several comments that there is just not enough space between the front of the engine and the front bodywork and grille of the car, to accommodate the large plastic inlet plenum on the engine without having to make ugly, bulges, blisters or even a stick through solution to overcome and accommodate it. Well they'd be right and not being fans of ugly and out of character bodywork bulges we've applied the time proven Marshseis Maxim.... "With a welder and a grinder you can fix anything"... so behold the new, bespoke, stainless steel, super smooth, space saving, lightweight, you can't bend it, inlet plenum in the first stages of construction. This featuring innovative internal velocity stacks to improve inlet flow to the engine in an uncompromising effort to make a fantastic engine even better.

Who's heard the saying "You just can't get 10 gallons of sh-t, to fit into a five gallon bucket"?When it came to getting the new mini interior especially the seats in..... it did seem as if this might well apply. Once again, where there's a will there's a way and like pretty much everything its best to start with the foundations and build up from there. The astute amongst you will probably have noticed the innovative modification to the floor pan crossmember and this while making the cross member stronger than original allows for the relatively easy installation of the modern Cooper seats, and keeps everything tied-in, in relation to the other interior components, maintaining everything exactly where it should and needs to be.
There will be more on seat installation in a future blog so for the seats we'll leave it here for now, we would like to point out how ever the foundation installation above was absolutely critical down to millimetre precision to achieve this.... Once again "It's Great and we love it when a plan comes together" :-)

Finally for today's blog our solution to the question, if not the gotcha statement issued by some.... "You've forgotten about cooling, where the hell you going to put the rad"?
Well here it is...rather unusual placement for the cooling installation but sometimes you've just got to think out side the box or in our case inside the boot. With all piping runs now established and heater integration established we're pretty damned pleased with this.
So for today we'll finish with the famous quotation from Napoleon when he was confronted with the word Impossible.
"Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools" :-)
That's about all for this blog....All the best and take care and be sure to keep an eye out for our next blogs where you'll find out exactly how we got on with "Creating a Time Machine".
